UNICEF are also engaging people to use QR code for their donation campaign SHARE, which aims to fight the hunger of Somalian kids.

Right now, a child is dying of hunger in Somalia every six minutes. And unless we do something about it, children are going to carry on dying. It’s simple. Children are hungry. We’re not. Farin Piu, the Italian cereal foods, use QR codes on their packaging to lead you to delicious recipes. If you don’t know how to cook it you can get suggestion for recipes from starters to deserts. Chef Fabrizio Mantovani, a poplular Chef from the Italian version of “Ready Steady Cook” or “La Prova del Cuoco” and he has created 12 original recipes for the products. Producer wanted consumers to have their recipes from the moment of buying the food, so they put a QR code directly on the package.

Scan the QR code to view the recipes, but you have to know Italian.
